“I’m just set in my Cop-outs.”

“I’m just set in my ways,” is a cop-out. I know several friends who have told me they will likely never find anyone and that they’ll never change their ways.

I know it’s more difficult the older you get. I also know that going around saying: “I’m just set in my ways,” is a cop-out. It’s an excuse not to even try to change. You can’t just throw your hands up. When you give up on a willingness to change, you surrender hopes and dreams. It might become more difficult to reach those hopes and dreams as you age, especially if you wait to pursue them until later or perhaps just haven’t been able to reach them, but throwing your hands up is rather unacceptable.

This isn’t going to be a very long post because there’s not much more to say on the matter.

DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS! Whether you’re 21 or 71, life isn’t over until you’re warm and dead. It is never too late for a dream until you leave this world. Until then, “Never give up! Never surrender!”

Okay, enough of my cheesy movie lines. Good night!
